One of the latest product of Arlen Ness is the 18-996 Inverted Series Air Cleaner Kit, which is specifically designed for 2017-2023 Harley Davidson M8 models. The kit includes a 15-spoke air cleaner, an inverted performance air filter, and forged billet aluminum air filter housing.

The 15-spoke air cleaner is made of chrome and features a black stainless steel jacketed inverted filter. The filter is designed with an inverted pleated top and 360° of pleated sides, allowing it to pull in filtered air from every angle. The forged billet aluminum backing plate is designed with patented Big Sucker™ hidden breather technology, which eliminates the need for external hoses or hardware and creates a virtually closed-loop system. The backing plate also features a radius air inlet for smooth airflow.

The forged billet air filter covers are CNC machined from a single piece of forged billet aluminum and feature an exposed design. The CNC inverted top acts as a velocity stack, helping to pull in more air flow. The hidden breathers are o-ringed at the heads and exits at the throttle body/carb to create a virtually closed-loop system.

The performance filter is made with a black synthetic filter element wrapped in a stainless steel jacket. The filter is water-resistant, eliminating the need for a rain sock. The filter is also reusable and washable, and does not require oil.
